PLEASE NOTE: THE APBA GAME COMPANY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS PAGE
If the APBA card is different than the Card Computer card, the APBA card is correct.
Please DO NOT CONTACT APBA about this page!
Welcome to Steve's APBA-compatible Card Computer
Version 5.7.6 Last updated 7/6/2025
I get all my stats from the most excellent folks at Sports Reference.
The APBA store has moved. Get APBA products here.
Version 5.7.6 makes another change to my pitching grade cutoffs, which were too severe.
Version 5.7.5 makes changes to my sketchy pitching basic grade algorithm, making it a bit more strict and hopefully more accurate. Also adds hard-coded 2024 season data.
Version 5.7.4 adapts to changes in my Baseball Reference pitcher stats interface
Version 5.7.3 adapts to changes in my Baseball Reference batter stats interface
Version 5.7.2 adds hard-coded 2023 season data
Version 5.7.1 adds hard-coded 2022 season data
Version 5.7 adds Previous and Next year controls (to the right and the left of the year selector). This allows the user to see the selected player's cards over a series of years. With a player selected, hitting the "<" button will show you that player's card for the previous year. The ">" button will show that player's card for the next year. Thanks to Gary C for the suggestion!
FAQ: Why don't you do fielding and speed ratings? Answer: I don't want to make cards that will compete with the game company. Buy your cards from APBA! Or else our hobby dies! That said, you can put anything in the "Pos" field, like "(F)Secondbaseman(9)", and the error and rare play numbers should come out right for the position.
Please email me or hit me up on the Facebook or Delphi group with problems or suggestions.

To use the card computer:
Select a year from the season dropdown menu and then
select a player from the list to the left of the card, OR
Fill in the top areas yourself to create a card matching
what ever stats you desire. The card should change automatically
in response to your stat inputs.
The box below the player list is your Selected Players list. "Add" adds the selected player and year to the list. "Delete" deletes the selected player in your Selected Players list from the list. "Save" saves the Selected Players list. "Restore" restores the last saved Selected Players list.
"Make One Column Cards" will force the cards to be computed without using the second column. (Hat tip to Bob Godby for suggesting this option!)
"TBL Grades" will display TBL-style pitcher grades instead of Basic game pitching grades.
"Card font" will change the font the card display uses.
Thanks for visiting!
